Supporting Wiosna children – WIS Wrocław International School

Once again, the WIS community came together to support children from the Wiosna orphanage in Krzydlina Mała. This year, we were asked to donate pajamas for the children, and as always, each child found their own Santa to fulfill this wish.

In addition, MYP 4 students, led by Mr. Johnson, organized a doughnut sale, raising an impressive 1,177 PLN. The funds were handed over to Sister Agata, the orphanage director, to support the children’s needs.

We also brought a selection of English books to help the children improve their language skills.

The meeting with Sister Agata took place on December 13, 2024. As a heartfelt gesture of gratitude, students, parents, and teachers received beautiful thank-you gifts from the Wiosna orphanage, including holiday cards, beautifully decorated handmade gingerbread cookies, and other sweet treats.

We are proud to have been able to contribute to such a meaningful cause. Together, we make a difference! ❤️

WIS is running the admission procedures throughout the whole school year. Children and youth of all nationalities may seek admission to the school.
