Extra-Curricular Activities – WIS Wrocław International School

The Extra-curricular Activities (ECAs) are a chance for students to explore their interests at Wroclaw International School. Each trimester the program changes to meet the interests of the students and the needs of our incoming families.

PYP Programmes

Students in the PYP have a range of activities including creative design, programming robots and coding, hand building pottery, chess, dramatic arts, and street dance. Often families offer activities including home language, design, and performance.

The activities are mixed grade and allow for children to socialize across grades, ages, and languages. Instruction is in English and students are encouraged to speak English in their ECAs. The ECAs are offered 3 times a year and students are encouraged to try new activities and explore.

Parents are informed of sign up via Managebac.

MYP Programmes

In 2023-2024 we extended the ECA programme to the Middle Years Programme. The courses offered were based on the student’s interests. This year we are proud to off programming Robotics, film design, hand building pottery, weaving, and making a rock band. Students are the foundation of this program and it is growing as they hone their skills.

MYP students are developing their independence. Their ECA registration is ongoing and students have the opportunity to start a new course, to try new activities and request a specific course.

How to enrol a child to WIS?

WIS is running the admission procedures throughout the whole school year. Children and youth of all nationalities may seek admission to the school.
