Just before the winter break, our MYP5 students had the opportunity to present their Personal Projects—one of the key components of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP). This event was a celebration of their creativity, dedication, and independent learning.
The Personal Project is a year-long, student-driven inquiry that allows learners to explore a topic of personal interest while developing essential skills such as research, critical thinking, and time management. Each student selects a subject they are passionate about, formulates a goal, and works independently to create a final product that reflects their learning journey. The process culminates in a formal presentation, where they share their experiences, challenges, and achievements with the school community.
From innovative designs and artistic creations to scientific investigations and social impact initiatives, this year’s projects showcased an incredible range of ideas and talents. These presentations not only highlight our students’ individual strengths but also reinforce the IB values of curiosity, perseverance, and global-mindedness.
Congratulations to our MYP5 students and their teacher-mentors!
