PYP5 students learned about Poetry during their language classes. They enjoyed learning about poetry by looking at different types of poems, talking about their structure and analyzing many famous poems.

As a part of their Poetry classes, the students wrote their own poems and they decided to organize a Poetry Slam to share their work with their parents and other PYP students.

During the Poetry Slam PYP 5 presented two poems: a famous poem of their choice and their own poem, which were also displayed in the room for the audience to look at.

Although the students were a little bit stressed before the event, they really enjoyed it and were very proud of themselves! They loved the energy and the enthusiasm of the audience and were very thankful for their support during the performance.
